By JAMES SMAILES Hull FC Reporter COACH Richard Agar insists Castleford will prove highly dangerous opponents for Hull FC tonight - despite their poor record so far this season.
The Tigers head to the KC Stadium having lost three of their opening four contests and are languishing at the wrong end of Super League.
But, recalling how Terry Matterson's men ended FC's unbeaten start last season - and highlighting their all-out attack approach - Agar has warned his side against any complacency.
"This is a different test for us this week," Agar told the Mail.
"Castleford come out of the blocks quickly and it is important we make sure we not only match their start, but also we better it.
"You want Castleford to be playing out of their own half because they are very potent in attack.
Prada Replica Handbags"They have a little bit of that maverick approach to them and you have to expect the unexpected at times."
Having opened their season with a surprise victory at champions Leeds, the Tigers followed it up by pushing Warrington close.
Defeat at Bradford was followed by a loss last week to Hull KR, despite racing into an early 10-0 lead.
Now, Agar expects them to show extra determination to bounce back, and says they have men capable Replica fendi wholesale of causing problems.
"They are on the back of three defeats and two games they will look at and say that they should have gone on to win.
"The halves know how to mix it up in Brent Sherwin and Rangi Chase, while Ryan McGoldrick is dangerous.
"They are three players who have played well against us before and that is something I am very wary and conscious of."
Having seen complacency be his side's downfall in the 18-16 defeat at Crusaders last month, Agar has hammered home the importance of attitude to his players.
And he is confident they have put that defeat well behind them with a return to form in beating Harlequins 28-4 last time out.
"On the whole this year, and I include the two trial games in this, we have had one flat performance," Agar said.
"Attack wise last week we scored five tries and had three possibly ruled out, and we did that on the back of a slow ruck and without Sean Long.
"That success came on the back of some good field possession rugby and a strong defence. "We are starting to recognise the things that can work for us.
Clip on charms"The key to winning is us.
"We are paying the opposition due respect, but we are very much trying to cultivate our own trademark style of play."
